We are go for launch!

You are looking at the first launch of the Saturn V* back in 1967. It was a monumental event met with great anticipation. It set the pace for space exploration for years to come.

BSidesCha 2018

It may not match up to the thundering roar of 7.5M pounds of blazing rocket power but BSidesCha will be in town Spring 2018. We have been holding back the excitement until we had a solid date and a good venue. We ended up with a good date and a great venue so now the real excitement can begin.

The Call for Papers opens up August 1st so prepare yourself for that.

Thanks again to the The Edney Innovation Center for the event space.

*What about the shuttle?

Yes, I know the space shuttle program was around for years and there was some excitement around it too. I wanted to use something larger for the example. Just for comparison the Saturn V is 4th from the left and the shuttle is 5th from the left on the size chart below.

So the Saturn V isn’t as large as a BattleStar but it is larger than the shuttle.
